OUR SECOND AUTUMN ON THE COAST

The low sun after the equinox made some dramatic light in the early mornings of the wonderful weather we had at the beginning of August. We had unseasonal temperatures in the mid 20's during the first week of October.
This is the first large painting I made in October 100 x 100 cm.

The dramatic diagonal light was a feature of the early morning dog walks on the beach.
I continued to work for a couple of weeks on the same theme and the work formed the key to the latest show in atelier2.
