It's time to prepare for the next exhibition starting in June.

I am now working on a larger piece on linen but this time 90cm x 90cm. I not quite sure what to do next but I need to live with it a little longer.

We had a memorable barbecue in the garden of our friends Marianne & Jo. The sunset shining through the wooded garden created a dramatic atmosphere which sparked off another series of images. These are two small oils 30cm x 30cm.

Spring over the cliffs again

The views from the cliff tops give a different sense of being on the edge of the land in a much different way from looking at them from below.

The late spring continues to give us wonderful weather. I have continued to be captivated by the coastline this time from the heights. The new perspective generates a new range of images for me. This was recently completed in oil on linen 80cm x 80cm.

A continuing fascination with the Falaises

The falaises continue to be a fascination. This abrupt boundary between the land and sea is always changing.

New paintings of Dieppe

Dieppe is a fascinating town with a many connections with artists and the the UK. The name Dieppe is derived from an old english meaning deep. Walter Sickert lived here for many years.
I have recently completed these paintings for exhibition in Dieppe.
